New and upcoming airports of India

Jewar Airport - Uttar Pradesh

At the same time Jewar airport will also offer immense convenience to residents living in and around Noida at a distance of 60 kms from Delhi, the total cost of construction is expected to be about 20 crores and said to be developed in four phases. The second airport of Mumbai is already under construction and is being built at Ulve-Kopar Panvel in Mumbai. The airport is said to ease off the load from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and is going to be one of the first urban multi airport of India. The first phase of airport is expected to handle a lot of 10 million passengers every year and once expanded to its full capacity it will handle more than 60 million passengers per year.
